“I have learned to be content with whatever I have.
I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty.
In any and all circumstances
I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry,
of having plenty and of being in need.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
from Philippians 4:10-20
Paul was a prisoner of the Romans, chained to a guard day and night. But, during that time he writes a letter that is rejoicing and triumphant.
He has discovered that Jesus Christ is with us and within us. When we start believing, we have the opportunity to meet every possibility that comes our way.
When we come to God with a need, he will answer. It might be a different answer than we expect. But, we always have the opportunity to be strengthened.
We need to learn to rejoice and be grateful for the opportunities we have to learn and grow.
As you go about your day, keep your eyes open.
What does “Opportunity” look like to you?
